Let continue from where i stopped....

Next we have....

Model the Way

Find your voice

  1. Tools and techniques of leadership aren’t substitutes for who and what you are

  2. Understand your own beliefs; can’t expect people to follow you if you don’t know what you believe

Affirm shared value

  1. Honor diversity but find the common core

  2. Shared values are the organization’s promise

  3. Shared values are important, but not at the expense of dissent
Note:Good leaders must be clear in their own mind about their values and must be able to not only articulate them clearly, but to live them as well.

As I have always know setting and example it important .But sometime as a followers must know leaders are still human .They have there limitation .But I felt a least followers want is it leader's best that all .

Challenge the Process

Search for opportunities

  1. Good leaders are fundamentally restless

  2. Proactivity produces better results than reactivity

  3. Training and the mental simulation that results can also result in unanticipated opportunities

Experiment and take risks

  1. Good, successful leaders are ones who are willing to take a chance, fail, learn and try something new

  2. Not every thing has to work every time, but always seek to generate small wins (they build into big ones)

Note:A good leader should also encourage initiative in others—it can result in new ways of looking at problems, can result in innovative solutions and greater commitment from members of an organization.

For me , I felt being initiative have some more benefits. For this point , it not only for leaders it for everyone .It is because in life , it not always about the results but the process .

As a christian , how can you know god better .It not a one days or one weeks things .It a life time maybe . It a process .

Now it the last one

Inspire a Shared Vision

Envision the future

  1. Exemplary leaders are forward-looking
  2. Requires two essentials:
    ¢Imagine the possibilities
    ¢Find a common purpose
Enlist others

  1. You can’t do this on your own (you wouldn’t be a leader)
  2. The best leaders are excellent listeners
Note:The vision of the future is a broad message to be conveyed and requires that you also look backward. It is important to see the big picture not just one-time occurrences

It the ended of the model .People who have been in church long enough will find all this 5 points familar .It is because we have been taught too .

For the vision part , where is own RP unit vision ah ?? Die le ah LOL ....No vision = Aimless Hmmm can I concluse that ? It just a question to thing about .

Today my mum prepared steamboat . Hmmm I am quite curious .So I asked "today special day ah ".....And I never expected her reply to be "Ya ,it my off day" LOL it super funny .I was stun a little .
