Wow Service was great ...it looked like everything this week was planned by god ...got a surprise from god ....As you know during this week , my class have a chalet and we played a game that everyone have to bless a person with a gift .....for me a gal gave me a book and a card ....The book title is " What On Earth Am i here For ?" And an encouragment card with the word "persistence"...
At the begining , i was like why that book i know the ans years ago but i dont mind reading it .....the card in a way rebuked me ...haha i was encourage that she was intending to get the book for herself too ..heee
During Service, the messages was about "Why godly chirsitian slowly disappearing ?"pastor ben talked abt spiritual , cultural and emotional isolation.
spiritual isolation ...when you cant fit in sometime and started to compromise on your values
he asked us a powerful question ....Does our heart break ?
when we see ppl living a life without purpose and meaning ? etc
For me ,i can say Yes but not as pain as before .... Why ? came into my mind ...not as compassion for ppl as before ....many thing came crashing into my head ....
I can say the true hurts all the time .....during worship , god asked me " did your forgot your first love ? in the way did you forgot him ...i was did I ??? as i continue to worship thing started to flowed into my mind .....the title of the book and the card .....and one part what was written on the card "Dont give excuses".
Everything started to must sense , cause i believe everything happen for a reason...the book was a reminder from god asking me "What your purpose now stephen ?"how your relationship with me ?......For the card ....god asked "Are you giving excuses sometime because you just wan to run away ?" .....And lastly persistence...god said as you press on with me ..i will carry you through....and before you can do big thing for me ..it starts with small little things ...
It is amazing god can used my non believer fren like my ....I am sure she will read this ...it sound like a story but it is real ....god is real in my life and i hope you really can experience him too hehe ....go buy that book k ...hehe
